A better option is to make the spacer from pvc, thus avoiding the cold end of the glazing. Thanks to the excellent insulating characteristics of the PVC spacer, maintaining a higher temperature at the edges of the glazing significantly reduces the risk of condensation. This in turn reduces the accumulation of harmful mold and mildew on the window. When using PVC spacers, the risk of condensation is significantly reduced compared to the use of aluminum spacers.
Argon is an insulating gas that is placed in the glazing for even better insulation. This extra can be added to any glazing, regardless of its thickness.
